Add a blanket or towel inside one of the cubes and your kitty has an instant cuddle hideout. Your cat will have fun exploring or just plan napping on this “contemporary, eco-friendly, economical, and configurable alternative to traditional, expensive, bulky, and unsightly cat furniture”.

Catty Stacks are available in five colors to match any decor. They are only $14.99 per box. So why not pick up 3 or 4 today and build a little kitty fort for your best friend?

What others are saying about Catty Stacks:

  • BorisKitty.com says, “Dey r Pawsum” (You might recognize him from the Catty Stacks Boris’ Bundle on our site.)
  • Whataslacker.com says, “What I liked about the Catty Stacks is the fact that you can build and rebuild them in any configuration that you want, kind of like giant kitty LEGO bricks.”

It is Spring time and we all know as the weather warms up our cats are on the prowl for anything that moves.

That includes bugs.

Bugs are also a popular cat toy format too. CatToys.com has plenty to offer your little bug hunter.

Check out the new KONG Fuzz Bugs, which are actually two toys in one. You have the way cool buggy body and attached to that is a rattle ball on a bungee! The bungee and ball are attached with Velcro so they can be removed at any time.

But if your kitty is really looking for something a little more interactive and life-like in their bug toys, check out the NEKO FLIES cat toys. These are really great. We have bundled all the great Neko Flies bugs into one package. You’ll get creeping bugs, flying bugs and even feather tailed bugs for your cat to go crazy about.

We know you’ll enjoy your cat wanting to play with these toys over the real thing.

Halloween can be a scary time, especially if your a cat. Here are a few helpful tips to keep your kitty safe this Halloween.

Keep your cats indoors this weekend. This can be a dangerous time of year outside for cats and dogs, but especially black cats as they are often the targets of pranksters or worse.

Watch those opening doors. Cats are sneaky by nature and will slip out an open door as soon as they spot an opportunity. Close them off in an unused room during parties or while trick-or-treaters are at the house. (Kritter Kondos work inside too.) Maybe leave the TV or radio on for them so they are not spooked by all the strange noises in their once docile domicile.

Make sure they are wearing their collars with proper ID on them and not some humiliating and restricting costume. For the most part cats don’t like to wear costumes so don’t force the issue and stress them out. No collar? Then make sure they are microchipped so they can be brought home safely if lost.

Candy can be dangerous so keep it out of your pet’s reach. Not only can chocolate be toxic to animals but the wrappers can cause serious injury if ingested.

Decorate with your pets in mind. Kitty-proof your house this Halloween. Don’t use an open flame they are too easy for a cat to knock over and start a fire. There are plenty of LED alternatives out there to keep your cat and your house safe. Fake spider webs and other decorations with dangling strings are often too much of a temptation for cats who can become entangled and injured.

Have a Happy & Safe Halloween!

See what a little Zoom Around the Room Catnip from Fat Cat did for this kitty? Tally Ho got so so crazy about this catnip he ripped the packaging up to get to it. Photo and package were sent into us by Tally Ho’s owner Barbara.

How to Use Your CatToys.com Box

Remember it is not just the box that your order came in, it is also a very special treat for your cat! Boxes are fun as you can see by our friends Boris and his sisters!

  1. Open the box upon arrival.
  2. Remove all items in the box except the tissue paper.
  3. Place the box on the ground so your cat can get in it.
  4. Optional step: adjust the flaps on the box for easy access.
  5. Sit back and watch the fun.**

** Be sure you have a camera handy to capture all the fun.

We would love to see any photos or videos you take of your kitties playing in our boxes and with the toys they receive.

Above all else have fun with your cats!

Our pal Boris Kitty shows what a gentleman he is by sharing his CatToys.com box with his three sister kitties in this entertaining video.

I you would like to see more photos head on over to his blog, Boris Kitty – 4 Paws for a Cause, and see what fun a box delivered with a pinch of catnip in it is for this feline foursome.

Any one who has a cat and has brought a box into the house knows the simple truth…cats love boxes!

Even if they don’t quite fit in them, they’ll still get in them. But the best box of all is one that is delivered directly to the house and contains catnip!

As you can see by the photos below, this kitty is one very satisfied customer!

Update: We are very pleased with our contest entries. We had quite a few people answer not only correctly with one of the animals but several told us all three!

Answer: We would have accepted any one of the following…mouse, fish, butterfly.

Winner is @BrewskieButt who not only answered correctly but gave us all three lures. So we are also giving them a set of Catfisher Lures to go with that Catfisher Bobber toy. Now all you need is the fishing pole to go with it! Congratulations!

Some of our friends over on Twitter started up a little club for their favorite cat toy – the Kong Duckie (formerly known in some circles as the Dr. Noy’s Duck cat toy). Since it started the Duckie Club has gathered quite a following among the cats who twitter crowd.

They started telling all their friends about how much they (or rather their cats) enjoyed this little yellow duckie toy. Manxington started it off by showing the world how much he loved his duckie and asking if other cats had pictures of themselves playing with their duckies. We just loved the pictures of Boris that he posted on his blog, Just Ducky: A Tale of a Boy and His Duck (we even used one of his pictures in our store, with his permission of course). Soon cats all over Twitter were posting images and talking about getting a duckie. Those kitties sure know how to have fun, don’t they?

The Kong Duckie cat toy has a Velcro closure on its back so that it can be filled with the enclosed catnip pouches (each toy comes with 2 catnip T-nip “teabags”).

We have joined forces with our friends @Manxington and @BorisKitty to donate duckies to kitties in rescues. For every 25 duckies sold through links on their websites we will donate a duckie to charity.

We just added a line of kitten toys to our site. These four new toys are designed smaller for smaller paws. They are part of the Play-n-Squeak cat toys line so all four kitten toys have that famous realist mouse squeak that kittens and adult cats love.

These new kitten toys will keep your kitten busy stalking, pouncing and chasing for hours all the while he is learning valuable habits and behaviors for life. Playing with toys stimulates the kitten’s predatory behavoir, teaches new kittens social skills and cooridination, and most importantly keeps your new kitten busy and entertained to prevent behavior problems associated with boredom.
